The Sustainable Services to Meet the Needs of Local Women and Families was prepared in 2009 by the Centre for Rural Health and Research. This report outlines the study conducted and recommendations which could be enacted to increase maternity services in the Tofino General Hospital geographic area, a rural and remote region with out access to maternity services.
